SANTO DOMINGO. – During NOVAL’s annual Gala celebrated internationally by thousands of business partners, SUNSET REAL ESTATE stood out and won honors in the “International real estate agency of the year” category. Indeed, the dazzling and rapid growth of Sunset Real Estate on the international scene was highlighted during this event, among fierce competition, including many influential players in Europe, Asia and North America.

In an interview, Vincent Arès-Demers was asked the following question:
-Why do you think Sunset Real Estate stood out internationally and won honors at the last NOVAL Gala?

“What differentiates us and really our approach. We have put the emphasis on supporting

all our customers throughout the purchasing process until the final delivery and that is the real added value. A very large number of interested buyers contact us every week for our expertise in the Caribbean as well as to have access to the team of professionals who are part of our entourage.

At six in the evening, the senior staff of Noval Properties, together with their teams, dressed in the glamor that the occasion demanded, awaited the arrival of the guests invited for the night’s event.

The Great Hall of the Catalonia hotel was transformed with the tropical charms in tune with the Noval brand that promotes in its spectacular properties, the incomparable Caribbean beauty, that which offers its particular sand, with dazzling beaches and the hot sun that seduces thousands of visitors to this, the land of meringue.

Recreating the scenes of famous awards for great celebrities, a red carpet awaited the catwalks of real estate divas and leading men, who, leaving behind the bustle of property sales, responded to the call for the second edition of the “Real Estate Oscar”.

“I admire Noval Properties because it is the company that gives the most importance to real estate brokers, they make our lives easier. I wish them much success and that they continue to count on us because the people who love the sector must support it”, said the particular and unique Alenny Garabito at her entrance.

A group of six hostesses were stationed early in the morning by the company Newlink Dominicana, which was in charge of the general assembly of the event, to receive the more than 700 guests that included a long list of real estate firms, sector leaders, special guests and industry representatives, called to share the special meeting.

A drink of exquisite Cava welcomed the Grand Gala, while two main spaces were set up, one for the award ceremony and the second for socializing. Of course, the 360 Camera was not lacking for the massive figuring of photos and models, especially of the girls showing off their outfits.

In the space arranged for the occasion, two bars were placed, several stations with fine snacks for the tasting of the guests, who at no time lacked the presence of a battery of waiters who did not stop the swaying of trays full of drinks first.

When the scheduled time for the evening arrived, when everything was impeccably arranged, the first guests appeared. From that moment on, the parade grew, as did the murmur of the crowd that took the opportunity to catch up with a good hug for their friend, a conversation, a selfie and even a bit of coworking, because sales never sleep.

At 8:30 p.m. The hosts and spouses Joel López and Liza Blanco appeared on stage to start the night and write the lines of a new chapter in the history of the Dominican real estate industry.

César Latrilla, CEO of Noval Properties, was the first to be called up on stage to welcome those present. She highlighted the elegance and the extravagance of glamor in a night that she defined as very special. “First because we launched new projects and second because today we reward the best in the country.”

In a short time, he briefly reviewed the five years of the brand, recalling the first time he presented the first project in the Dominican Republic. “Since then many things have happened, we have grown a lot, it is the great development company in the country thanks to you”, explained the executive.

And he added: “In 2018 we timidly began to plant the seed, in 2019 everything made sense, 2020, when everything seemed wonderful, Covid arrived and the economy closed and everything turned grey, 2021 the world changed, we got out of the pandemic and it was the moment when people began to cultivate the art of knowing how to live”, he reflected.

Despite the regrets with the war drums that broke out between Russia and Ukraine and the government measures, Latrilla defines 2022 as the best year for the company. “We have had the best year in our history.”

The outlook shows that inflation will continue to rise in 2023, but the CEO is confident and determined that Noval Properties will know how to make the right decisions to turn the market around and get ahead.

He finished his speech on a high note. “We will do something extraordinary, unrepeatable, we are going to launch new projects, after arguing that by 2023 they will enter the luxury of Cap Cana, they will climb the mountains of Jarabacoa, they will walk through the nature of Las Terrenas until they arrive with more spirit to the Dominican capital.

5,500 homes, is the number that the firm projects for next year, with an estimated investment of 1,200 million, of which it ensures 60 million will remain in the hands of real estate agents, through commissions.

Lorena Sevilla, sales director of Punta Cana, presented the River Island project of that tourist hub, while Iris Espinal, director of the North Zone, referred to Silver Beach, the eye-breaking project that will be built on the beachfront in the very fashionable , Las Terrenas area, Samaná.

At 9:00 pm. The time has come to reveal the winners, with the delivery of the prizes in the different categories, which we publish in another text of this same edition.
Once the awards ceremony was over, the contagious and traditional rhythm of December of the Conjunto Quisqueya resounded on the stage, inviting the cadence of the dancers, giving thanks for a new edition of “Noval Awards”, which they hope to publish with much greater impetus next year.
